Questions to Ask A Sprinkler Tester

- How Many Stories is your building?
- How Many Square Feet is your building?
- How Many Standpipe Risers do you have?
- Are There Sprinklers Inside Units? If, yes, How Many Units? We will need to inspect 90% of units
- When Was Your System Last Tested?
- Did The Test Pass Inspection? If Yes, Excellent. If No, Provide the report showing defects. You may need Repairs and Retest before a New Sprinkler Inspection and Testing
- When are you available for testing?
- Ask if you can expect to receive the report of findings upon completion, within a reasonable time period
Reporting: NFPA Forms or The Compliance Engine
Once testing is completed,Reg 4 Certified Testerswill log in to Brycer's "The Compliance Engine"where they will fill out report forms and submit them into the system for LAFD's review. Note: Particular cities besidesLos Angelesalso work with the Compliance Engine such asCulver City,Beverly Hills,Glendale, etc. Those C16 testers will need to fill out an NFPA Inspection Report and then upload it to The Compliance Engine.
